Worship Matters

Grace and Peace from God Our Father and our Lord Jesus 


Scripture: John 4 v 23

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."

God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Psalms 100

Shout for joy to the lord all the earth worship the lord With gladness. Come before him with joyful songs.

God is seeking true worshipers. For true worship.It is critically important in worship to know who we are worshipping.

Let us define two words:

Hebrew word for worship  is 'Shachah'

Shachah Means  To prostrate oneself,  To crouch to fall flat;  to stoop;  to bow down; Reverence and to honor and respect by kneeling down.

The Greek word for worship is 'Proskuneo'

It simply means to Bow down , to reverence; to adore;  to proceed from the right attitude; it means admiration; Devotion and extravagant respect.

Worship is God centered and not entertainment. I firmly believe in past seasons there was a lot of entertainment;  man pleasers; show boating and much more..

God in this season is seeking true worshippers and that worship must be attributed to a true and living God.

Did you know that Lucifer was a Chief Muscian leading worship in Heaven?!

Isaiah 14 vs 12 - 15

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit."


As a true worshipper, a muscian,  Dont allow pride to set in your hearts. Lucifer was impressively clothed in beauty; Intelligence and Power. He remained faithful untill iniquity was found in him.

Lucifer means 'morning star', the planet of Venus, Light bearer.

I urge the Saints of God in this critical hour to remain faithful in your  worship. 

Character, Lifestyle, Motive and Purity is essential for true worship. Indeed that is what the Father is seeking, truth amongst our worshippers.

Truth....

"You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free."

Firm in allegiance, Loyal, faithful, Steadfast, Sincere, Real, Genuine, Authentic, Perfect, Accurate, Appropriate, Unquestionable, Undoubted. This is true and pure worship. It becomes Extravagant Worship.

Over the years our worship was incomplete, improper, indecent, shoddy, and unatural. So when God looked on how humans worshipped Him. It was fake in his sight. Half hearted, false, fabricated, manufactured, unreal and misleading. So he announced, those that worship me must worship me in Spirit and in Truth.

Your worship must be Matchless, Special, Unmatched, Beautiful, Wonderful, Pleasing the heart of the Father. We please the reciever. Our worship then is welcoming, allowable. worthy, ratifying and satisfying.

Blessings....

Therefore we are recieving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe for our God is a consuming fire.

Let's worship God in a satisfactory manner in a credible way with the right posture in  an acceptable degree.

Prayer....

Our loving God and Father we worship you in spirit and in truth. We bow down to you only. We kneel and bow before your throne in adoration, in reverence, in devotion to the only true and living God. You are omnipotent, Your are omnipresent, You are omniscient, immutable and loving. To you we gaze our eyes, we fix our eyes on you. Recieve our prayers, recieve our worship, recieve our praise, there is none like you. Who can compare to your majesty, Splendor, your power and glory, none oh God. There is no one like you, loving and faithful and true. To you we lift up our hands and worship, and Proskuneo before our King and Lord. Be lifted higher and higher and higher. Amen

Book Review: Beyond Blessed - Courtesy Of Struik Christian Media

A brave book indeed! My initial thought when I picked this book up was that it was going to be just like every other 'Christian' book out there on finances.  But to my surprise, that whilst the central theme is finance, the author talks more about other aspects surrounding finance which leads up to good financial habits. He addresses the issues on carrying too much debt and even budgeting.  It's a great all rounder, that covers all basic necessities of the financial arena from a thorough Biblical perspective. There is a companion book that was written before this one called ' The Blessed Life.' I managed to get a copy of it at a book sale, but haven't had the opportunity of reading it yet. But will get around to it soon, hopefully.  I would suggest getting a copy of this book. In fact every family should have a copy of it.
