This God...

This God is so Magnificent, why do we choose to not Believe ?

This God who in such Power was born in a Manger.
This God who raised the dead by name 
And heals the sick, the lame, the deaf and the blind. 

This God who speaks to the natural elements and calms the storm.

This God who Walks on Water and pulls you out from under the crushing waves, can any other god accomplish this?

 This God who gives Peace that Surpasses all human Understanding and both Knowledge and Wisdom comes through reverent Fear of Him who can Destroy both body and soul.

This God who in such Bountiful Love Gave of Himself to this Wretched world. He gave us His Son!

This God who's Joy becomes our Strength. But do remember this, we have to bring Him Joy in order for that same Joy to return to us as Strength.

This God who through Grace accomplishes in our weaknesses that which we can never even do through our own Strength!

This God who Inhabits the Praises of His people simply because He enjoys Relationship with Them.

This God who has never left your side but who has carried you through every Joy and every Sorrow, Now stands at the door and Knocks.

This God who is the Lifter of our heads even when others Forsake us.

This God who is the creator of worlds and galaxies, who saw it fit to put everything in One universe - Just by His very Words!

This God who Speaks and it is Done!

This God who is now our Saviour

This God who's Glory is the Cross now resides in us all.

How do You choose to see this God!?!

And will You not Believe?

Psalms 19 vs 1 - 14:
"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard. Their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a groom coming from the bridal chamber; it rejoices like an athlete running a course. It rises from one end of the heavens and circles to their other end; nothing is hidden from its heat. The instruction of the LORD is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise. The precepts of the LORD are right, making the heart glad; the command of the LORD is radiant, making the eyes light up. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the LORD are reliable and altogether righteous. They are more desirable than gold — than an abundance of pure gold; and sweeter than honey, which comes from the honeycomb. In addition, Your servant is warned by them; there is great reward in keeping them. Who perceives his unintentional sins? Cleanse me from my hidden faults. Moreover, keep Your servant from willful sins; do not let them rule over me. Then I will be innocent and cleansed from blatant rebellion. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, LORD, my rock and my Redeemer." (HCSB)

Book Review: Beyond Blessed - Courtesy Of Struik Christian Media

A brave book indeed! My initial thought when I picked this book up was that it was going to be just like every other 'Christian' book out there on finances.  But to my surprise, that whilst the central theme is finance, the author talks more about other aspects surrounding finance which leads up to good financial habits. He addresses the issues on carrying too much debt and even budgeting.  It's a great all rounder, that covers all basic necessities of the financial arena from a thorough Biblical perspective. There is a companion book that was written before this one called ' The Blessed Life.' I managed to get a copy of it at a book sale, but haven't had the opportunity of reading it yet. But will get around to it soon, hopefully.  I would suggest getting a copy of this book. In fact every family should have a copy of it.
